The Accountant (my day job)
So most people are shocked to hear that my day job is that I'm an Accounting Consultant. It really wasn't what I dreamed of doing…. as a child I wanted to be a physiologist. But it ended being what I was good at, and what fell into my lap.
I've been blessed to be in the right place at the right time in my career. And I've been blessed by knowing some very influential people that held my hand and led me down this path.
I really enjoy my job, its intellectual stimulation for a very physically active person. So I find its nice balance. Plus, it pays the bills!! (which I have many)
The Entrepreneur
Another interesting fact about me is that I've owned my own corporation and I'm currently a partner in another business endeavor. Being a competitor I've come to realize that this sport is NOT cheap! It's ridiculously expensive…. especially when it comes to our suits! Well, with the help of my business partner Merry Christine, we created MCBodywear. MC Bodywear represents MC (Merry Christine)'s world-renowned designs at an affordable, manufactured price. Our suits start at $75!! It's been a rough road, but we continue to thrive and bring the nicest, most flattering, and most economical suits to the industry!!
My husband and I also own and operate Williams Productions. We promote the Washington State Bodybuilding Fitness & Figure Championships. We feel we bring a lot to the show in favor of the athlete. We've grown so much over the last few years, adding the NAS Westcoast Strongman competition as well as ZipFizz Swimwear/Hardbody competition.
The Wife & Mom
As a teen, if someone would've told me that at 34 I'd be married, with 2 kids, a dog with the white picket fence, I would've laughed in their face. But here I am, married (11 years!) with a 10 year old girl, fantastically talented and full of vigor, and a brand new baby girl, not to mention the family pet - my darling pug Tula. I wouldn't trade anything in the entire world for my family. My children are my best accomplishments. Erin (now 10) is an amazingly gifted dancer and I can't wait to watch her achieve all that she's capable of. And Paige (now 2 months old) is an amazing, beautiful baby who already shows so much character and spunk.
With all that I have in my life, it wouldn't mean anything if I didn't have my best friend, my husband Jeremy to share it with. I couldn't ask for a better husband and father. I'm so very proud of the life we have and the love we share. |
